Open to junior players ages 12-16.

Age Eligibility

U16: Players born on or after January 1, 2010

U14: Players born on or after January 1, 2012

U12: Players born on or after January 1, 2014

Pre-Qualifications

  • Open to junior players ages 12-16
  • International participants are welcome

finals

  •  The winner of each Pre-Qualifying division will advance to the U.S. Finals.

DIRECT ENTRY TO U.S. FINALS

  • Players with a UTR of 6.0 or higher at the time of registration may be eligible for direct entry into the U.S. Finals.

Japan

  • If a Direct Entry player is confirmed in a division, only the winner of the Finals will Qualify.
  • If, NO Direct Entry player is confirmed, both the winner and runner-up will qualify.  
  • Up to 2 players from each division may qualify for the SENKO CUP Championships in Japan.

NOTE

  • If a division has no registered players, its available spot(s) may be allocated to another division depending on final entry numbers.

 

EXTERNAL SPOT (JAPAN)

  •  Players living outside of Southern California
  • UTR of 5.0 or higher at the time of registration

 

Nationality Requirement

  • Participation in the SENKO CUP Championships in Japan as a Team USA representative requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Dual citizens are eligible.
